Clambake
October 1, 2007Saturday:
First game was against “Jerk Factory” a canadian team(?) that didn’t suck. Bowdoin played them close but failed to make plays when it counted and ended up falling 15-11. Bowdoin then battled the JMU alums. JMU through a lot of hucks but the D played well and the clown went won with out trouble. The final game was against DoG. The game was much more spirited than the sectionals contest. The game was fun but precision beat fire and ended the clowns chance at the A bracket. Saturday concluded with an old fat-clown scrimmage. The older members had a good contingent including Tim-dog (94), and Old Ben (99) but lost to the younger set thanks to rodeo skying freeland twice awesomely.
Sunday:
Bowdoin’s oppentent failed to show for the first game so bowdoin advanced to the semis of the loser pool. the Clown defeated vasser thanks to its skill of making freshman play cup. Then they avenged old fat by beating red tired despite a lot of chippy foul calls.
And of course bowdoin (and freeland) won the party.
